Policy of personal data processing on our website

This Privacy Policy statement is provided in compliance with ‘Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council’ dated 27 April 2016, and Italian Legislative Decree 196/03 (‘Personal Data Protection Code’) and refers exclusively to the website www.myrtus.it.
Myrtus Srl undertakes to protect and safeguard the privacy of its website users. This Privacy Policy explains the commitment of our company and its partners to protect the information collected relating to the use of our products and services: this information endorses Myrtus’s commitment to be transparent when collecting, using and sharing users’ data.
The purpose of this document is to provide data subjects with information that will allow them, if they wish, to provide explicit informed consent to processing. If data subjects do not wish to give their consent, they shall cease navigation and not use the company’s services.
In general, all information or personal details communicated through our website will be processed according to principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose and storage limitation, data minimisation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.

NAVIGATION DATA
During normal use the software procedures employed to operate these websites acquire, for example, pages read and source IP addresses. These data are used for the sole purpose of collecting anonymous statistics regarding use of the website, checking its operation, providing customers with targeted advertising (see the information about cookies for a full explanation of such use), and identifying anomalies and/or misuse. Myrtus will process data in an aggregated, anonymous way.
None of the data deriving from website navigation will be communicated or disseminated to others.
Such data shall not be stored beyond two years.

DATA PROVIDED BY DATA SUBJECTS
The ‘Contacts’ section of the website requires the entering of information regarding the contact, such as name, company name, telephone number, physical address and email address. In addition, every time the data subject takes part in events recorded by the website or communicates through contacts found on the website, the Data Controller is entitled to collect such further information provided at the data subject’s discretion.
Personal details in our possession will not be transferred to third parties and we will do our utmost to guarantee that such details are secure and confidential, according to the current Regulation. Providing data is optional and necessary for Myrtus to perform the services offered on the website as well as to reply to requests for information, documentation and updating regarding its products and/or collect feedback about their use.
In any case, data processing will be restricted to Europe. The data subject gives consent to data being communicated to:

• professionals, consultants hired by us and other subjects who have commercial or contractual relationships with our company insofar as they relate to the scope of the relationship in question.

AIMS AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING, AND ITS OBLIGATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE
Myrtus will process personal data provided by users only in the way established in this Privacy Policy and in observance of current legislation. Personal data collected from our website will be used for the following aims:
a) marketing, informative and promotional activities for our company and products; in this case the legal basis is provided by the data subject’s consent.
The data subject shall have the right to withdraw his or her consent at any time and without charge; the data subject may interrupt receipt of these communications at any time and without charge, by writing to myrtus@myrtus.it. Such withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Contact data will be stored until consent is withdrawn.


 

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DETAILS AND TRANSFERS

 

The data subject’s personal details may be received by the subjects indicated below (‘Recipients’):
• Subjects who are in partnership with Myrtus and work with us to promote products and common services.
• Subjects responsible for data processing, e.g. natural or legal persons who provide assistance and consultancy in the accounting, administrative, legal, fiscal and financial fields, as well as credit collection relating to services performed, posting of advertising material or contractual communications, event organisers, web meeting and web seminar providers for training purposes;
• Subjects who provide email services, also delegated to run requests for erasure sent by users as a result of marketing activities;
• Subjects delegated to technical maintenance (including maintenance of network devices and electronic communications networks);
• Persons authorised to process personal data needed for activities strictly connected to the provision of products/services; such persons have a legal obligation to observe confidentiality;
• Factoring companies, banks, credit collection companies and credit insurance companies;
• Professional Orders or training bodies accredited with such Orders;
• Competent subjects, bodies or authorities who have an obligation to communicate personal data to fulfil legal requirements and prevent misuse or fraud.

In any case, such data transmission will take place within the EU or USA, in accordance with the ‘EU-US Privacy Shield’ agreement, and exclusively for the purposes described above.

EXERCISING RIGHTS TO ACCESS, RECTIFICATION AND DELETION
As data subjects, users of this website may exercise their rights laid down in art. 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, and arts. 15, 16 and 17 of Regulation 2016/679, including the right to consult, update, correct or erase the data, withdraw consent, or object to processing, on legitimate grounds, by contacting the Data Controller on myrtus@myrtus.it.
Data subjects also have the right to complain to the competent controlling body (for Italy, the Data Protection Authority, http://www.garanteprivacy.it ) if they consider that their personal data is being processed against current regulations.
